Clef de St Thomas

Accueil / Vins & Huiles d'olives / Châteauneuf-du-Pape / Clef de St Thomas

Crafted from old vines, this is a charming and moreish Châteauneuf-du-Pape…

Garnet red, with a nose of exotic wood (cedar), then notes of mild spice and (remarkable fresh) raspberry develop after a few minutes’ aeration. Fleshy and mature on the palate, with agreeably smooth tannins. Seriously elegant, with slight truffle and woody notes to finish.

Terroir: Domaine Clef de St Thomas comprises 11 hectares (28 acres) of plots planted to the north and south of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This cuvée comes from plots of old vines to the south of the village (a plateau of stony, sandstone soils).
