In 2001, Philippe Kessler acquired \u201cCh\u00e2teau Calissanne\u201d and decided to restructure the estate, including both the vineyards and olive trees, enlarging and modernising the wine-making and maturing cellars in order to improve the quality of the wines.<\/p>\n
These efforts required considerable work and meticulous attention to detail.<\/p>\n

Today, his wife Sophie Kessler-Mati\u00e8re and his son Thomas are carrying on the work undertaken by Philippe Kessler and are continuing to develop the two vineyards: Ch\u00e2teau Calissanne<\/a> in A.O.P Coteaux d\u2019Aix-en-Provence with the famous Clos Victoire<\/a> and Rocher Rouge<\/a> wines, and Domaine de la Clef de Saint-Thomas in A.O.C.
